Neutral Engineering Compatibility
PEM / SPE pure-water electrolysis
The units use proton-exchange-membrane (solid polymer electrolyte) electrolysis with purified water only. The membrane, not a liquid electrolyte, carries the ionic path.
Hydrogen injection format
Gas is generated on demand and introduced into the engine's intake air path. Nothing is stored on board; there is no pressurised hydrogen vessel.
Diesel-only compatibility
The format described on this page applies to diesel engines. Petrol, gas and hybrid drivetrains are outside the scope of this compatibility overview.
No chemicals, no KOH
No potassium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide or other caustic electrolyte is used or handled. The consumable is purified water plus a replaceable resin filter.
No modification to vehicle electronics
The unit is fitted as standalone hardware with its own supply and control. Engine management, ECU calibration and factory wiring looms are not altered.
No claims made
This page states compatibility only. It makes no statement about performance, emissions, fuel use, mechanical outcomes, roadworthiness certification or regulatory compliance.
Use Case Categories (Neutral)
Categories people ask about. Listing a category describes where the hardware can be fitted — nothing more.
- Trades
- Commercial use
- Recreational towing
Safety & Neutrality

Installation is hardware-only supply. Owners and operators remain responsible for how any fitted equipment is installed, inspected and used on their own vehicles, including any applicable state, territory or site requirements.
Pure-water PEM/SPE hardware, sized by engine displacement.
The HydroHub™ range spans 1.0–16.0 L diesel displacement bands. Sizing is a hardware selection question only; no outcome is stated or implied on this page.
