Step 1 — Mounting location

  • Ventilated, protected from direct heat and weather ingress.
  • Vibration-isolated mounting in mobile plant.
  • Access for water top-up and filtration replacement.

Step 2 — Gas routing

Route the delivery line to the intake air path (upstream of the turbocharger inlet or into charge air) or to the burner air path. Fit flame arrest and a non-return device at the entry point and support the line clear of hot surfaces and moving parts.

Step 3 — Water and electrical connection

  • Fill with purified water through the specified filtration stage.
  • Connect supply with correctly rated protection and isolation.
  • Interlock so generation only runs while the engine or burner runs.

Step 4 — Commissioning

  • Verify gas output against the rated flow.
  • Leak-test all joints and record the result.
  • Record serial numbers, install date and filtration due date.
  • Hand over the maintenance schedule to the operator.

Step 5 — Ongoing maintenance

Replace resin filtration on the scheduled interval, re-test for leaks at each service, and keep records — both for reliability and so any evaluation data remains interpretable.
